"My Mom taught me how to crochet when I was around 8 years old. I would crochet here and there and for years after that. In 2016, I saw it as a business opportunity and so I put a name to it."

How long have you been doing business in town?

I created Classy Crafty Wife in 2016.

What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

My Mom taught me how to crochet when I was around 8 years old. I would crochet here and there and for years after that. In 2016, I saw it as a business opportunity and so I put a name to it.

If you had to sum up your business mission in 5 words to a stranger, what would it be?

Creativity Starts with a String!

What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your business?

Challenge: Time

Difficult Moment: Standing up for my business

What’s the most satisfying part of your business?

Creating! Completing a project and seeing that smile on a Happy Customer!

How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

There can be many Crocheters out there creating, but no project is the same as the other. They are all unique and I think mine are a bit more perfect!! (Big Laugh)

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

"Set a Big Goal that you can’t achieve it until you Grow into the Person who Can!"

Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about? If so, what details can you share and what makes it so exciting?

My Winter Designs! I hope to have them on Spots On The FOX by September. I am also learning how to create and design my own patterns.

Do you have any events coming up in your community? If so, tell us about them?

I used to do craft shows, but now that I am part of Spots On The FOX, I am focusing more on creating certain special sales here and there! This month I have the "Christmas in July" sale going on until the end of the month. We are working on the "Back to School Sale" for August and stay tuned for the Winter sale in September. Every item is Handmade and time consuming so orders will be limited!

How can the community discover your business?

I have a Facebook and Instagram page where I have all the pictures of every item created and new ones coming out, and of course you can find me on Spots On The FOX. Also, I am part of the Painted Tree MarketPlace Family. I have a booth in the Naperville store where you can also shop. To request a special order, you can send a message thru Messenger or by email: classycraftywife@gmail.com
